What is the nature of a Waunting?
INVITATION is a multimedia, erotic zine of self-portraits, sound experiments, and reflective writings around my experience with self-perception, representation, where I come from and who I belong to.
How to get the zine:
This is a vulnerable and intimate offering including multiple forms of media. This project was created with Black queer trans folks in mind. I am asking that you consider your positionality when engaging with the material.
Things you can ask yourself: What does it mean for me to enter this Black queer “space”? Can I make it possible for more Black queer folks to engage with this kind of material? Why am I interested in this work?
What does my gaze imply?
